Company named a top Legal Staffing Provider (Legal/Litigation Support Staffing) in New York for multiple years in a row

TRU Staffing Partners, an award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in cybersecurity, e-discovery, and privacy, today announced that the company has been named a top Legal Staffing Provider (Legal/Litigation Support Staffing) in the 2018 Best of the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey. This marks the 5th year since 2013 the company has been named in this survey.

Published since 2010, the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings gives the New York legal community the opportunity to acknowledge those they believe to be the best providers of products and services in their market. The ballot has several dozen categories – from data technology products and banking services to litigation support and alternative dispute resolution providers – to showcase the businesses that stand out among their competitors in providing the essentials required to compete in today’s legal market.

“New York is where TRU was founded so we are always thrilled when being recognized by this region as the go-to agency for representation in the legal technology community,” states Jared Coseglia, founder and CEO of TRU Staffing Partners. “Thank you to everyone who voted, and we will continue our commitment to excellence in representing the best and brightest our community has to offer.”

The full survey results are available in the most recent issue of the New York Law Journal or at http://nylawyer.nylj.com/adgifs/specials/NYLJ_2018_0924_Bestof2018/mobile/index.html.

There is currently a high demand for and sudden drought of ESI processors.

TOP 3 Reasons For The ESI Data Processor Drought
  • Law firms have been pushing their processing to third-party vendors with greater regularity, meaning fewer data processors in the low to mid-market with law firm experience.
  • Many data processors have evolved into project managers and no longer want to participate technically in processing.
  • The squeeze on processing margins has hiring managers wanting to pay less for processing talent, but still desiring seasoned technical skills for processing analysts.

Planning your annual conference spend/agenda is a critical part of your professional development.

TOP 3 Legalweek 2019 Takeaways
  • It is Legalweek, not Legaltech. The shift and focus for target audience is now lawyers, not just legal technologists.
  • There was lots of talk of “AI” but few are really using it; this event still centers largely on e-discovery providers and ancillary solutions.
  • Almost everyone on the consulting firm and service provider side of legal services was in town, and the meetings that occur at this event still set the tone for the year ahead for new and renewed business alliances.
