  1. Covered entities and service providers must appoint one or more qualified employees to serve as privacy or security officers.

  2. Large data holders must appoint one qualified employee to serve as privacy officer, and one qualified employee to serve as data security officer.

  3. Large data holders must do biennial privacy impact assessments for all of the entity’s covered data processing practices.
