TRU Staffing Partners, a globally recognized award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in data privacy, e-discovery, and cybersecurity, today announces the addition of new Talent Scout Brittany Hall.
Hall brings to the TRU recruitment team her extensive experience in law enforcement (Dallas Police Department, Gang Unit), where she developed skills she is eager to translate to legal technology staffing. “A lot of police work relies on your ability to accurately assess people, to get an accurate feel for their motivations and desires,” Hall states. “I try to use that skill to more fully understand the candidates I work with and find the best job on the market for each individual.” Hall’s background also creates a deeper insight of other former law enforcement professionals making career transitions to the private sector, especially those working in digital forensics.
Hall’s aspirations at TRU dovetail perfectly with TRU’s mission to provide much more than simple staffing. “The culture in my DPD unit was one of unending mutual support and being intentional about setting people up for success. I want to bring that same care and commitment to the talent I work with. With each candidate, I ask if I’m presenting them with a position I would want myself, if it’s going to bring a new spark of happiness to their life. For me, recruiting is not about filling a position; it’s about elevating people’s lives!”
“From the first few minutes of our interview with Brittany, I knew immediately she needed to be here at TRU. She has a drive and determination that can’t be taught and a genuine excitement and passion for helping people,” says Sarah Roberts, Vice President of Recruitment and Account Management. “She has already brought new perspectives, ideas, and contagious positive energy and excitement. There is already so much Brittany has taught me, and I’m thrilled and humbled to have the opportunity to learn, mentor, and work alongside her. Watch out, legal tech—there’s a new sheriff in town!”
