TRU Staffing Partners and the IAPP Join Forces for Career Transition Webinar

TRU Staffing Partners, a globally recognized award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in cybersecurity, e-discovery, and data privacy, today announces that Founder and CEO Jared Coseglia will moderate and co-host a webinar with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) on February 25, 2020, on why and how e-discovery professionals can transition into data privacy professionals.

Coseglia will be joined by panelists Rita Heimes, General Counsel and Data Protection Officer for IAPP; Michael Quartararo, President of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS); Debbie Reynolds, Founder, CEO, and Global Data Privacy and Protection Consultant of Debbie Reynolds Consulting; and Ron Whitworth, Senior Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer of Truist for the webinar titled “Career Transitioning from e-Discovery into Privacy.”

Coseglia will provide an in-depth explanation of why e-discovery professionals are uniquely positioned to move into privacy, the steps they should take to do so, and why hiring managers in privacy should take advantage of e-discovery talent available in the marketplace. The panel will share their experience on hiring profiles, needed skill sets, legal and technical competencies, and where the two disciplines overlap. Panelists will also share their success stories facilitating a transition from ESI to data privacy, either personally or from those they have hired. Finally, our panel will break down the IAPP certification ecosystem, providing attendees with clear examples of where to start exploring this career transition.
