TRU Staffing Partners, a leading search firm representing talent and opportunities in the e-discovery and litigation support space, and LIU Post, whose Paralegal Studies certificate program offers an ABA-approved blended classroom/online program that enables students to meet personal and professional responsibilities while fulfilling certificate requirements, today announced a partnership to bring an e-Discovery Bootcamp to aspiring legal professionals. The five-day, 35 hour course is designed to give students a broad overview of the litigation lifecycle coupled with practical hands-on experience and exposure to basic processing, hosting, and producing of data.
The course will focus on electronic discovery, the process of identifying, evaluating and producing electronically stored data for use as evidence in court cases and will be presented at LIU Post May 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7, offering paralegal students as well as working paralegals, attorneys and the public expertise in an emerging aspect of the legal field.
Common best practices and workflow techniques for electronic data manipulation and analysis will be covered during the program. It will familiarize students with the essentials of e-discovery project management including:
Instructors for the course include Kara Buzga, Paralegal Supervisor in the New York office of Mayer Brown; Nick Eglevsky, Litigation Support Manager for Kelley Drye and Warren; Jared Coseglia, President of TRU Staffing Partners; and other leading industry professionals.
In addition to teaching, Buzga and Eglevsky will work closely with Coseglia and Dr. Judith Mathers Maloney at LIU Post on curriculum development.

To qualify for LIU Post’s Paralegal Studies Program applicants must have a minimum of 60 college credits (18 of which must be in general education), or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
