In response to the global coronavirus crisis, TRU Staffing Partners, a globally recognized award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in cybersecurity, e-discovery, and data privacy, today announces that founder and CEO Jared Coseglia will join Kaylee Walstad and Mary Mack of Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) to present two webinars to empower and inform employers and employees on how to successfully create, manage, and thrive working virtually from home.

With companies currently scrambling to move to a remote work-from-home model, many managers, workers, and job seekers are finding themselves confronting never-before faced challenges and questions. Coseglia has built and operated an entirely virtual staff spread across multiple continents for over a decade; additionally, over two-thirds of TRU’s contract talent workforce, who directly service their clients, operate remotely. This invaluable experience will be broken up into two webinars, hosted by EDRM:

“How to Create a Work From Home Virtual Culture” will be presented on March 25 at 1:00 PM EST. As companies, law firms, and service providers in e-discovery, cybersecurity, and privacy recalibrate their workforces, hiring managers have an opportunity to experience first-hand the benefits and challenges of managing and hiring remote human capital. Coseglia will answer questions and share his experiences building processes, deploying technology, and shaping behavior to sustain and enrich company success, employee retention, and job satisfaction. Topics will include choosing webcam culture vs. phone culture, technology choices and imperatives for virtual communication and staff accountability, the necessity of good data stewardship, creating a dedicated workspace, hiring virtually, and more. If you are a manager of people transitioning to virtual employment for the first time or someone working remotely who wants to elevate the work from home culture, this webinar will help guide your transition, shape your thought process, and improve your team productivity and cohesion working virtually from home.

“The Art of the Phone and Webcam Interview” will be presented the following week on April 2 at 1:00 PM EST. While there will undoubtedly be a hiring freeze, delay, and decay on full-time hires over the next few months or longer, employers across the globe will continue to seek and explore talent for future staffing needs or immediate contract demands through virtual interviewing. This master class will offer practical and tactical tips on how to master both the phone and webcam interview. To accentuate the differences between the two and to demonstrate examples of successful phone and webcam interviewing, half of the webinar will be voice only and half will be done with video. This webinar is targeted at anyone in e-discovery, cybersecurity, and privacy who is adapting to working from home and will inspire the confidence and courage to master the art of interviewing or being interviewed for employment virtually.

“These topics are near and dear to me and the success of TRU as an organization, regardless of these unique times we are currently confronting,” says Coseglia. “The pulse we are getting from our community is that people want to come together, people want to adapt quickly, and people accept we might be working from home for long periods of time this year. These two webinars and the speed at which we are deploying them is a direct response to that demand for comfort and information on how to act differently and perhaps more successfully when working or interviewing virtually. I am delighted to reunite with Kaylee and Mary, now at EDRM, to bring TRU’s unique perspective and proven experience growing as a business entirely virtually to our constituents.”

”We at EDRM are grateful that Jared is providing these Master Classes for job seekers, organizations who need to add staff quickly, and those who are creating a work-from-home culture,” said Mary Mack, CEO and Chief Legal Technologist at EDRM. “EDRM is committed to supporting our global community as people and has established support structures like these webinars to assist in these challenging times.”
