“We are honored and proud to have the industry’s leading education, training, and certification programs generously contribute to the health, wealth, and continued acceleration of talent skill set and savvy in the cybersecurity, e-discovery, and privacy job market. As we enter our tenth year as an organization and ninth year delivering this program, TRU has witnessed first-hand how these scholarships propel careers, elevate service capabilities for organizations, and lead directly to promotions and greater community visibility and viability for our winners,” states Jared Coseglia, founder and CEO of TRU Staffing Partners. “We believe 2020 will usher in a new emphasis on interdisciplinary skills across our areas of focus – cybersecurity, e-discovery, and privacy. This scholarship is, if nothing else, a great way for existing industry professionals to get new skills as well as for new entries into the community to find a way to break in.”
The 2020 application process is open today and will continue through February 28. The TRU Scholarship Advisory Board, made up of hiring managers and leaders in the space, will then review the applications anonymously, rank them, and match them with the best fit offerings. The recipients will be announced on or around April 1. Education and training will be executed before the end of 2020.
