Litigation Technology Analyst (LAW FIRM)

Our client, a leading Am Law firm, is adding a Litigation Technology e-Discovery Analyst to its busy, growing team. The successful candidate will be an experienced analyst able to support the firm's case teams and lawyers by providing hands-on litigation technology support leveraging Relativity, LAW, Ipro, and other tools to create databases, import and export data, create productions, and troubleshoot technical data. SUMMARY
The Litigation Technology Analyst will work collaboratively within the Litigation Technology Team, as well as other members of the eMerge group, and is primarily responsible for supporting the firm’s lawyers and clients regarding the processing, creation, maintenance, and support of litigation data, databases, and other related activities. Qualified candidates for this position will have experience in providing a full range of support to legal teams in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Litigation Technology Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
  • Provides hands-on litigation technology support, including projects such as database creation and maintenance, importing images, data and transcripts into databases, exporting data, reformatting and converting data, and producing data to outside parties in compliance with governing production specifications
  • Appropriate handling of data and documents received, including maintaining tracking logs, chain of custody and an inventory of media received for each project
  • Experience utilizing and administering litigation technology applications, including, but not limited to Relativity, LAW PreDiscovery, Ipro, CaseMap, TextMap, Case Notebook
  • Troubleshoots technical issues with incoming data and litigation technology applications
  • Works with Case Managers to customize databases and develops solutions to address matter or project-specific needs
  • Consistently adheres to department standard operating procedures and quality-control workflows, including the QC of files received from vendors, clients, and other third-party sources; as well as completing a thorough QC of processed data and outgoing productions
  • Timely and accurately completes all required documentation relating to client activities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or related work experience as required to meet firm business needs.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, legal and legislative documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to senior level attorneys, top management, clients, and peer groups.

REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of legal and technical instructions in diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
