Our client, a boutique e-discovery, digital forensic and information security service provider, is seeking an Account Manager, Business Development to join their expanding team. The Account Manager will be responsible for facilitating communication with clients to build long-term relationships in order to achieve business goals. Extensive experience maintaining current retention of clients, developing new business within these current clients, as well as identifying areas of improvement when needed is required. This individual must have strong experience collaborating with other internal business units, working cross-functionally with forensic teams, operations teams, direct sales and more. The ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment is required. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with strong direct sales and hunting experience who is interested in moving into an account manager position, or an ESI project manager looking for a successful pathway to transition into their first sales role.   • Manages a portfolio of established accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develops and enhances positive relationships with clients and firms
  • Acts as the point of contact and handle clients' individual needs and matters
  • Generates new business within existing accounts and generate internal and external referrals
  • Communicates, resolves conflicts, and provides solutions to clients promptly
  • Reports on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Sets and tracks the development of account and clients in CRM
  • Achieves revenue goals and monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly and annual sales revenue)
  • Provides suggestions for the improvement of the sales process and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborates with team members and demonstrate the organization's core values
  • Proven work experience and achievement as a relationship-focused, Sales account manager or Sales account executive
  • Hands-on experience in sales in the legal services industry and an ability to deliver an excellent client experience
  • Knowledge of CRM software and a general understanding of technology, familiarity with digital forensics is a plus
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Desire to learn, grow and excel within the organization
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field, or applicable experience

  • Familiarity with technology and digital forensics
  • Understanding of the legal industry and law firms
  • Experience work with legal professionals and law firms
