Our client, one of the fastest growing and most sought-after employers in the technology vertical and a Fortune top ten, is looking for a Principal Product Manager Technical, Security Products. The Product Manager will drive direction for the threat detection and alerting solutions with companywide security and compliance impact. The successful candidate will have the desire and talent to make big changes in a fast-paced environment and will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, drawing upon exemplary product management capabilities, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and will have a passion for creating reliable, maintainable, and secure solutions. An understanding of security for diverse technology environments such as cloud computing is highly preferred. Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, or related discipline, or many years of equivalent technology experience
  • Some years of industry experience with a proven track record of delivering products in threat detection and alerting domain
  • Several years of executive communication; effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both business and technical sides of the business
  • Strong grasp of Information security fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions
  • Ability to effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong customer focus, ownership, sense of urgency and drive
  • Experience in generating automated metrics to measure IT security effectiveness and consistency
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of security for diverse technology environments such as cloud computing
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to drive innovation independently
  • Passion to make things better and resourceful, solutions-based approach to partnership
  • Security-related certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISA)
  • Experience in building highly scalable detection solutions
  • Possess an understanding of core information security principles and associated risk management principles
  • Experience with large enterprise environments
  • Experience with AWS products and services
