Our client, a major leading Am Law firm, is adding an e-Discovery Project Manager to its growing team, based in their Atlanta or Philadelphia offices. SUMMARY:   
The Litigation Technology Project Manager will consult with eMerge case managers, senior discovery attorneys, case teams and clients regarding technology matters related to their cases. The successful candidate will assist with budgeting, technology solution recommendations, tracking and documentation, quality assurance, trouble-shooting, and ongoing project support throughout the litigation lifecycle to ensure technology needs meet overall goals of case. The Technology Project Manager delegates tasks as appropriate and works in a team environment within eMerge with a strong focus on client care, responsiveness, accuracy and accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Support eMerge case managers with end-to-end technology needs on assigned matters to make sure big-picture objectives, deadlines, and case needs are met
  • Perform Project Management services throughout the life of a project to include requirements gathering, timely communication, status updates, budget monitoring, documentation and coordination of technical activities
  • Work with attorneys, the technology team and external vendors (when required) to ensure the appropriate, efficient and effective preservation, collection, review, analysis, and production of hard copy and electronically stored information (ESI) during litigation and governmental investigations
  • Work with members of the eMerge team to provide technology advice, support and training
  • Provide training and support to attorneys and other legal professionals on litigation technology tools such as Relativity, CaseMap, LiveNote, Sanction and others
  • Draft vendor RFPs, evaluate qualifications and capabilities of vendors, make recommendations regarding vendor selection and budgeting to decision makers
  • Provide quality and technical control of deliveries to/from vendors and Litigation Technology Analysts on specific projects
  • Consistently deliver proactive communication with eMerge case managers and clients and when client issues arise address those issues or expeditiously escalates appropriately
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in litigation technology, legal requirements, case law and business technology systems. Active participation in local and online litigation technology groups is strongly encouraged
  • Assist with analysis, testing and implementation of new or updated versions of litigation support software
  • Track and enter time into Firm billing systems daily
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree, plus related work experience as required to meet firm business needs.
