Our client, a global e-Discovery service provider, is seeking a Director, Document Review Services. In this role, the Director is responsible for all Managed Review service delivery across all matters taking place in EMEA or for EMEA clients globally. The Director will directly manage several review project managers, recruiters, and operations managers and is responsible for their utilization, development, and success. The Director serves as a subject matter expert within the region, supporting Sales and go-to-market activities. The Director will also serve as an escalation point and a key contributor to the development of client relationships. Ideal candidate will have strong people management and managed review experience. Summary:
The Director, Document Review Services is responsible Managed Review service delivery across all matters taking place in EMEA or for EMEA clients globally. The Director will directly manage several review project managers, recruiters, and operations managers and is responsible for their utilization, development, and success. The Director serves as a subject matter expert within the region, supporting Sales and go-to-market activities. Finally, the Director serves an escalation point and a key contributor to the development of client relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages review managers, recruiters, and operations managers directly across EMEA
  • Provides leadership to develop and motivate team members and allows them to assume additional responsibilities and growth opportunities within the organization 
  • Participates in annual performance reviews and defines objectives for team members
  • Leads by example on the training and on-boarding of new team members to ensure they are appropriately oriented to protocols, standards, and technology
  • Develops and maintains default processes and best practices, as well as ensure adherence to global best practices
  • Provides thought leadership and participates in industry conferences – keep abreast of new methods and technologies
  • Works closely with the sales team and other partners (Client Services, Operations, Advanced Technologies, Product Management, Product Development, Finance, Human Resources, and Sales)
Qualifications
  • Law degree, such as JD or LLB, or business degree, such as Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Significant industry experience
  • Familiarity with the methods (e.g., active learning) and technologies (e.g., NexLP, Brainspace, Relativity Analytics) used to deliver analytics-driven solutions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent issue spotting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to go above and beyond expectations
  • Strong track record of consistent performance
