CONTRACT Senior Project Manager (VENDOR)

Our client, the world’s leading enterprise legal services provider, is seeking a Contract Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team. As the primary point of contact and client liaison for e-discovery and litigation support projects and tasks, the Senior Project Manager will work internally across technical staff, vendors and discovery consultants to maintain exceptional workflow and communication between all teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed documentation during initiation, planning, execution, monitor and control, and closure phases of each project and case. As a senior resource within the organization, strong experience and ability to create, modify, and follow process-driven execution of all project tasks to ensure unified litigation Project Management methodology is required. Extensive experience utilizing Relativity is required; experience training and mentoring junior PMs, analysts, and other technical teams on the tool is preferred. Responsibilities:

  • Provides consultation to internal and external clients regarding e-discovery cases, including: Early Case Assessment, Forensic Collections, Culling and Filtering, ESI Processing, ASP Hosting, Document Review, Document Production, Data Archival and Storage
  • Uses logic, mathematical equations, and other tools to accurately estimate and update project costs and timelines based on different requirements and scenarios
  • Understands, plans for and mitigates risks to timeline or deliverable; understands the downstream impact of various options during collection, processing, review and production
  • Gathers, thoroughly documents and confirms client requirements using standard project intake forms
  • Identifies work components of foreseeable tasks and manages completion, and provides updates to client within estimated cost and time schedule using available resources
  • Acts as final layer of quality control for any work product being delivered to a client
  • Understands pricing models and client agreements to ensure timely and accurate billing procedures
  • Carries a company cell phone and email device at all times, with the exception of pre-approved personal time off; acknowledges receipt of all project related emails within 30 minutes during business hours and 60 minutes after hours
  • Reports weekly status updates on all active projects to Litigation Professional Services leadership
  • Mentors and develops Associate Project Managers
  • Continually solicits feedback from clients regarding current and potential service offerings
  • Analyzes processes to propose changes or additions to project procedures
  • Facilitates and conducts software and process training for internal and external clients

Qualifications:

  • Litigation Support Project Management, leading e-discovery projects and administering related technologies
  • Conceptual understanding of options available in processing software and ability to communicate those options to clients
  • Relativity Administrator proficiency or RCA preferred
  • Project Management Institute PMP certification or equivalent degree preferred
  • Exceptional proactive written, electronic and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional client expectation management and relationship building skills
  • Appropriately identifies, plans for and mitigates risks, escalates when appropriate and leads team to resolve issues
