Senior/Application Support Specialist (SOFTWARE COMPANY)

Our client, an expanding AI and e-discovery software company, is looking for multiple Application Support Specialists to join their growing Chicago team. The ideal candidates will have a background in programming and a passion for emerging technology. The specialists will be responsible for developing client-service related SQL scripts, maintaining cloud-based applications, and aiding in configurations and trainings across the organization’s software platforms. Candidates coming from the e-discovery industry with exposure to client-server architecture, modern programming languages, and SQL scripting will be considered first. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a passion for solving difficult client requests and software problems is required. Send resumes to [email protected].

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner and utilize skills and knowledge of applications to answer questions and solve technical problems
  • Owns ticket until completely resolved and provides follow-up with client after closed to assure continued success
  • Assists users with configuration and settings across AI/Processing/Review technologies and test to assure it is functioning to client satisfaction
  • Creates, maintains, and provides when appropriate SQL scripts to provide access and reporting to additional functionality and data for reporting
  • Proactively and re-actively creates client service-related applications in collaboration with other internal and external teams
  • Assists in the development of installation packages for various internal or external customers
  • Actively assists in maintaining cloud-based services and developing methods for automated maintenance or reporting
  • Contributes to software documentation, knowledge base articles, and other client facing materials
  • College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems related area
  • Familiar with client-server architecture, modern programming language, and SQL scripting
  • e-Discovery experience a big plus
  • Familiar with Azure/AWS a plus
