Vice President, Litigation Business Development (VENDOR)

Our client, the world’s leading enterprise legal services provider, is seeking a Vice President, Litigation Business Development to drive net new client business. The successful candidate must have experience selling ESI products or services on an enterprise scale into both law firms and corporations. The VP will generate and qualify their own leads, liaise with marketing and client success teams across the organization, identify and build strategic relationships with client stakeholders, outside counsel, and other C-level decision makers. As the VP of Business Development, this individual must have experience as a sales hunter, preparing and delivering persuasive presentations and leading sales meetings directly into the C-level decision makers. The ability to coordinate with global marketing teams, handle sales enablement, and work with product and pricing teams is required. Exceptional verbal and written communication is a must. Responsibilities
  • Develops and manages new business opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle in SalesForce; maintains a robust deal pipeline toward targeted potential accounts in specific regions, industries or with other strategic attributes, to continually grow new business
  • Identifies and builds strategic relationships with all kinds of client stakeholders, including inhouse attorneys/paralegals, outside counsel, other providers, executive and C-level decision-makers
  • Coordinates with global marketing, sales enablement and products/pricing teams to train for, certify into (if applicable) prepare and deliver powerful, persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate the value of services and solutions
  • Serves as evangelist for the brand, representing the company at key conferences and professional events
  • Collaborates with shared service operations, client engagement and client success teams to ensure successful new client onboarding
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with extensive work experience
  • Passion for digital transformation, strong interest in technology and the impact on legal departments and organizations
  • Dynamic, persuasive, presence with outstanding communication skills
  • Success-oriented, self-motivated, resilient, resourceful operator
  • Strong problem-solving skills and skilled at working effectively with matrixed, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent collaboration skills to build relationships with delivery and client success teams, as well as with other companies,  law firms and other third party stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while working in a fast-paced, global environment
