CONTRACT Project Management Leader (VENDOR)

Our client, a global ESI service provider, needs a dedicated contractor for an immediate assignment to join their team as a Project Management Leader. This will be a full-time, contract position lasting at least a year with the possibility for intermittent travel for in-person meetings with the client if deemed safe. The Project Management Leader must have substantial experience in e-discovery and should be comfortable consulting on complex ESI protocol adherence. The candidate should have strong organizational skills and must be able to clear an extensive conflicts list as well as help to design, document, and maintain processes. The Leader will serve as the internal and external primary point of contact for projects and initiatives coordinated across EDRM functions (collection, processing, review, production) and will maintain a front-facing client relationship. This role will oversee and lead workflow execution, prioritizing deliverables and anticipating needs as appropriate. A Juris Doctor (J. D.) is a must, along with some Relativity skills. Description:
  • Serves as the internal and external primary point of contact for projects and initiatives coordinated across EDRM functions (Collection, processing, review, production), maintaining a front-facing client relationship
  • Oversees and leads workflow execution, prioritizing deliverables and anticipating needs as appropriate
  • Helps design, document, and maintain processes
  • Reports on common sources of technical issues or questions; brings together the technical resources to discuss possible solutions
  • Works with the technology and project teams to test, document, and implement new solutions
  • Constantly on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value; continuous improvement
  • Serves as the key representative and owns the service delivery relationship for assigned projects
  • Provides high-level consultative input to the case team and staff, with an emphasis on advanced analytics and technology-assisted reviews
  • Ensures client and project requirements are being met with the highest quality and accuracy through verifying and communicating routinely with both the client and internal partners.
  • Provides strategic and tactical guidance to deliver best practices
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record with account oversight, big picture thinking, strategic planning
  • Critical execution skills while working with a large number of stakeholders
  • Exceptional organizational skills, reporting, and accountability
  • J.D. required
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, judgment and critical thinking
  • Willingness for participate in internal and client interviews
  • Ability to manage down, across and up
