Our client is seeking an e-Discovery Senior Electronic Files Specialist (SEFS) in Washington, D.C. In this role, the Specialist will work with teams across several divisions to support a government contracting team and will provide litigation support services. The ideal candidate will have experience providing hands-on file manipulation, loading and conversion services. Experience with development, evaluation and modification methodologies for manipulating files is also desired, as is experience performing quality assurance. Must have experience using Relativity and processing tools such as LAW or Nuix. Send resumes to [email protected].

Job Summary:
The e-Discovery SEFS will work with multidisciplinary teams across divisions to plan and deliver projects on time and within budget. This position requires a solid understanding of e-Discovery methodologies and experience in assisting in projects with cross-functional technical and legal teams. Successful candidates must be action-oriented, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to executive, business, technical, and client audiences. In addition, the ideal candidate needs to be able to establish an effective task handling approach that will deliver on the goals and objectives of all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Supports a government contracting team providing litigation support services, providing excellent customer service and solutions to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Consistently delivers well-articulated, balanced, and informed communications
  • Participates in defining and maintaining the processes and tools that allow team and client to meet client needs
  • Develops strong partnerships with the clients and supporting team leaders to provide stellar customer service
  • Establishes or refines processes and delivery methodologies to enable successful delivery on project goals
  • Serves as a key stakeholder in the development of technical project documentation
  • Establishes collaborative relationships with co-workers and team members
  • Assists client and management in other client service tasks as needed
  • Supports the e-discovery needs of attorneys and support staff and implementing the Department’s best practices related to e-discovery and data workflow
  • Provides hands-on file manipulation, loading, and conversion services
  • Creates and modifies files for upload and performs individual file conversion in support of electronic file processing
  • Develops, evaluates and modifies methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use with litigation support applications
  • Performs quality assurance of all EFP services
  • Ensures that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides managers with detailed notice of deficiencies; recommends process improvement to ensure high quality, timely and cost- effective methods are utilized

Direct Reports:
This position reports to and takes work direction from a lead project manager or project manager; this position has no direct reports

  • The ideal candidate will have some experience in e-Discovery/litigation support with a focus on client solutions
  • Must possess hands on work in Relativity
  • Must have experience with data processing using Ipro, Relativity, LAW or Nuix
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both e-discovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile work environment
  • Must be able to work onsite in Washington, D.C. (beginning day 1) 9am – 6pm (1 hour lunch) or 10am – 7pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
  • No travel required
