CONTRACT Litigation Support Manager/Document Review Project Manager (VENDOR)

Our client, a top legal services organization, is looking for a Contract Litigation Support Project Manager specializing in document review for a six month, work from home contract. In this role, the Project Manager will plan and manage document review projects for Fortune 500 corporations and Am Law 100 firms. The ideal candidate will have experience developing review and QC protocol, coordinating data collection activities, loading data into review databases and conducting initial kickoff calls with customers. Must have a JD and be in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. state. Relativity experience a must. This candidate must also be able to work Mountain Time Zone hours. Responsibilities

  • Plans and manages all aspects of e-discovery and document reviews projects for Fortune 500 corporations and Am Law 100 firms
  • Supports sales efforts, scoping new projects, recommending technology platforms, and recommending appropriate document review workflows
  • Conducts initial kick-off calls with customers and their key stakeholders
  • Ensures timelines are well understood by all parties and ensure a plan is in place to meet all relevant deadlines
  • Develops document review and QC protocols
  • Coordinates data collection activities
  • Loads data to review databases
  • Sets up user accounts, permissions, and coding panels
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for day-to-day project communications
  • Documents key project decisions and metrics
  • Supports issue resolution activities
  • Supports billing and invoicing activities


Experience

  • Significant experience in e-discovery and document review project management is required
  • Thorough knowledge of the litigation process, e-discovery, and managed document review is required


Technical Skills

  • Document collection and chain of custody best practices
  • Basic understanding of structured and unstructured data storage and retrieval
  • Relativity administration (and familiarity with other e-discovery tools)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel
  • Document review protocol development
  • Document review management
  • Account management
  • Technical consulting


Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a JD. A license (in good standing) to practice law in at least one US state
  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification is strongly preferred
  • MBA or PMP is a plus
