Fast-growing e-discovery software company is looking for Federal Account Executives for their Washington, D.C. office. In this role, the Account Executive will be responsible for bringing in new federal clients. Ideal candidate will have experience prospecting, running discovery calls/demos, and negotiating, and will possess a track record of closing new federal business. The Federal Account Executive should understand public sector use cases and how to navigate the federal procurement process to sell across multiple departments and agencies.   • Calls, emails and meets federal decision makers at all levels to facilitate deal closure
  • Runs technical demonstrations with federal customers
  • Manages the full sales-cycle, including contract generation and other deliverables for closing
  • Establishes relationships with a variety of existing accounts
  • Meets quarterly sales goals
  • Understands an account’s business needs and effectively communicates how the company will meet those needs
  • Uses for lead management and sales forecasting
  • Prioritizes opportunities and coordinates internal team to provide the best customer experience
  • Performs territory visits to meet customers face to face
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive territory plan
  • Identifies and supports federal opportunities through, GovWin and other publicly available sources
  • Ensures 100% satisfaction with all customers


  • Possesses obvious passion and people skills
  • A few years successful quota carrying federal e-discovery sales experience
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Consistent over-achievement in past experiences
  • Technically adept; experienced with web technologies
  • Passion for cloud technologies
