Our client, one of the world’s largest multinational law firms, is seeking a Senior Analyst for their e-discovery team. This role will be responsible for providing litigation technology support, managing a case load and being part of the Global e-Discovery & Data Advisory team. Responsibilities include assisting in organizing and maintaining Electronically Stored Information (ESI) and other litigation documents to ensure best practices and compliance with requirements for document preservation in all litigation practice group engagements and assisting with and maintaining databases to provide support to the region for all e-discovery projects. Successful candidates must have a background as an e-discovery project manager and have extensive experience with Relativity, Nuix, Technology Assisted Review (TAR) and Continuous Active Learning (CAL).   • Performs quality and technical control of deliveries from vendors
  • Provides product training on all litigation support tools
  • Maintains current knowledge of available e-discovery and litigation support systems
  • Provides reporting to aid in all facets of workflow
  • Provides support to case teams on varied levels
  • Trains and advises legal teams on the application and efficient use of technology
  • Uses expertise and hands on experience with e-discovery tools to provide technical solutions for managing data
  • Administers Relativity Software and support attorney’s use of Relativity
  • Works closely with IT to maintain databases and update software as required
  • Creates databases and responds to the needs of department management, legal teams, or clients
  • Designs databases and establishes workflow to support efficient document reviews
  • Manages the implementation of database systems, external web-based document repositories, external web-based case management tools, etc.
  • Carries out day-to-day database maintenance, reporting and related document and electronic evidence collection administration, as directed or assigned
  • Works to accurately and efficiently ensure the timely flow and on-line availability of document and electronic evidence collections, as well as the quality of database content and associated document images on all matters throughout the region
  • Manipulates data load files between litigation review platforms to assure quality and cost efficiency of document review projects and document management
  • Provides consultation to all offices concerning ESI for collections, processing, review and production
  • Organizes and Maintains documents and evidence
  • Works with attorneys, staff, clients, co-counsel and independent consultants to document evidentiary materials related to assigned cases
  • Organizes and indexes case documents and develops document retrieval systems best equipped for the engagement involved
  • Utilizes computer-assisted litigation support systems, including electronic databases and internet
  • Assists with collection of documents in both hard copy and electronic form
  • Assists and coordinates document production where needed, and understands key concepts of electronic discovery and EDRM model
  • Maintains document collection, management and production
  • Manages collection, and runs the technical processing, culling, review and hosting of electronic data as well as all hard copy or opposing productions
  • Processes data using Nuix software
  • Coordinates the loading of data obtained from vendors into any firm related databases
  • Retrieves and manipulates data within SQL or MS Access
  • Creates reports to track electronic discovery processing and production

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience as an e-Discovery Project Manager 
  • Extensive experience with Nuix and Relativity
  • Certified Relativity Administrator (desirable)
  • Nuix certified a plus
  • Extensive experience with Technology Assisted Review (TAR) and Continuous Active Learning (CAL)
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
