Our client, an e-discovery service provider, is looking for multiple Account Directors in London. This role will be responsible for business development in the EMEA region, specifically in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a business development role selling e-discovery or legal technology solutions to corporations and/or law firms. Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Articulates the client’s value proposition to prospects, clients, partners, and other market stakeholders
  • Generates leads from cold calling and networking
  • Participates in client presentations using negotiating and closing skills
  • Develops deep knowledge of the features and functionality of the client’s proprietary software, third-party software and professional service offerings
  • Leverages existing relationships and develop new ones with key decision-makers and influencers within targeted Law Firms and Corporations
  • Educates clients and prospects regarding the full range of the client’s technology and services via on-site client visits, conferences, events, etc.
  • Develops and maintains an accurate list of prospects/clients as well as related pipeline and funnel activities on a regular basis within our CRM system
  • Attends key industry conferences or company-sponsored client events
  • Solicits feedback on and monitor competitor services, branding and marketing approaches
  • Participates in sales team meetings to review pipeline activity, proposals, strategy, resources, best practices, etc.
  • Meets or exceeds sales revenue targets, as established by management
  • Maintains appropriate post-sales/retention contact with clients to ensure quality assurance as well as solicitation of future business
  • Collaborates and works closely with a variety of departments within the organization, including Marketing, Operations, Product Management and Finance

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience and track record of selling at multiple levels within UK Law Firms and Blue Chip Corporations
  • Track record of building solutions to change business behavior
  • Ability to visualize, develop and articulate new business concepts with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated closing skills
  • Strong presentation skills including ability to perform software demonstrations
  • Well-developed listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions and clearly discuss business value propositions.
  • Excellent proposal writing skills and ability to manage complex sales engagements
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred

Special Requirements

  • Extensive travel within the designated sales territory is required, as is periodic travel for training and professional conferences/conventions
