Our client, a top legal service provider and consulting firm, is looking to add a Director of Information Governance to their global practice. This person will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, channel partners and sales colleagues within the region and serve as liaison between customers, business partners (with an emphasis on a partnership with the Microsoft sales channel) and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs. This position serves as an overlay resource to the broader Legal Solutions Sales organization. On most business development opportunities, you will be working in tandem with another Account Director and serving as the Information Governance subject matter specialist. As this is primarily a client-facing role, a successful candidate will be comfortable and have experience working with contacts who serve in legal, compliance, privacy and information technology functions within an enterprise. Responsibilities

  • Operates as the lead or secondary point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer and channel partner relationships
  • Develops a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensures the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Prepares and delivers Information Governance workshops and other thought leadership events that demonstrate a high acumen regarding the client’s service and technology enabled offerings
  • Demonstrates knowledge on the impact of an enterprise’s use or transition to Office 365 as it relates to information governance, electronic discovery, regulatory compliance and data protection
  • Evangelizes the client’s Information Governance practice offerings and technology products to industry workgroups, conferences and publications
  • Forecasts and tracks key account metrics
  • Identifies and grows opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Assists with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

Requirements

  • Significant account management or other relevant experience with demonstrable skills related to Information Governance
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
