As the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service solution developed by lawyers for lawyers, our client is hiring a Strategic Account Manager to join their innovative and expanding sales team. They will be responsible for owning the overall leadership for a cross-functional client-facing account team. This individual will be the primary point of contact, responsible for the overall growth of software and services, facilitating communication with clients to ensure long-term relationships in order to achieve business goals, develop new business within current clients and identify areas of improvement when needed. The Strategic Account Manager must have experience collaborating and working cross-functionally with dev ops teams, direct sales teams, client services teams, and more. Job Description

  • Develops and maintains the multi-year strategic account plan for the strategic account to meet or exceed client objectives and sales goals
  • Revises the account strategy and plan to ensure they fit the continuously changing strategic account needs and priorities
  • Coordinates the growth pod and deploy growth pod and company resources in pursuit of account growth
  • Manages the interface between the strategic account and personnel (including all sales, product specialists, consulting, support, channels and corporate functions) to ensure an effective alignment model and communications, and reporting cadence 
  • Articulates both the company and strategic account value proposition to C-level management 
  • Creates a quarterly business review cadence to track our progress on aligned focus areas/work streams and other interactions
  • Integrates the company in front of the client providing a “one face, one company” strategy for the client
  • Sells and promotes the sale of company products including contract negotiation
  • Generates and achieves accurate monthly forecasts
  • Conducts weekly progress meetings with the Strategic account sales team


  • Several years selling and account relationship management experience with major accounts in a high-growth software business, legal domain area is a plus
  • History and track record of achievement of revenue objectives
  • Track record of business/account plan development and execution
  • Cross-LOB team management experience - international team management is a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in business or a relevant field
  • Masters degree is a plus
  • Travel as required to clients within your territory as well as industry events and conferences
