Client Engagement Manager (VENDOR)

Our client, the world’s leading enterprise legal services provider, is seeking a Client Engagement Manager to construct, enhance and maintain client relationships using outstanding practices across the entire EDRM. It is the CEM’s responsibility to plan, coordinate and ensure that all clients are receiving white glove service and managing risk proactively. This individual will take part in the overall financial success of assigned programs, and they will coach and mentor team members to help them perform to the best of their ability. The ideal candidate will be very client-facing, have high level communication skills and be well-versed throughout the EDRM. Extensive Relativity experience is a must. This role is perfect for someone who has worked in a managed services division. Candidates should be able to tell great stories about their clients that trust and rely on them. Responsibilities

  • Identifies and manages opportunities and risks to program and projects proactively
  • Acts as point of escalation of issues; resolves issues to mutual satisfaction
  • Conducts regular client check-ins; continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships
  • Reports financial and project status regularly
  • Responsible for reporting on all aspects of the program
  • Provides “best of breed” program management services
  • Travel is expected
  • Delivers and/or oversees outstanding Project Management services for assigned Projects within Program
  • Strives to bill at least 500 hours each year and maintains overall billable project utilization for their team and programs
  • Promotes, develops and adheres to our client’s project management methodologies and processes
  • Manages risk proactively
  • Participates in all project kick-off calls under assigned programs
  • Effectively works with people responsible for delivering services on assigned programs
  • Provides real time feedback on deliverables and is actively engaged in project/program assignments
  • Develops and mentors team members to help them perform to the best of their ability
  • Exercises a team mentality where communications, solutions, and good relationships are fostered
  • Inspires team members to grow as individuals and pursue excellence
  • Manages and grows the overall financial success of assigned programs
  • Understands pricing modules and ensures timely and accurate billing procedures
  • Maintains and tracks all revenue and costs (internal and external) and reports details including trends
  • Conducts regular audits of time and expense entry for all projects under assigned programs
  • Oversees invoicing process and provides additional level of invoice approval
  • Manages and maximizes utilization of project resources
  • Identifies new revenue streams from client needs and proposes new business solutions to internal leadership
  • Sound understanding of technical products and services in the market, including forward-looking understanding of industry trends and new technologies
  • Aware of competitors' products and their strong and weak points
  • Supports business development as services and solutions are introduced to future clients (presentations, RFI/RFP responses, demonstrations, etc.)
  • Experience as a client facing Project Manager in the Litigation Support industry
  • Shares knowledge and grows team by utilizing proven subject matter expertise and mentoring kills
  • Consultative expertise in managing e-Discovery projects and related technologies
  • Proactive client/relationship management and risk identification
  • Exceptional written, electronic and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed planning and organizational skills
  • Advanced abilities in MS Office suite, specifically MS Excel for complex reporting purposes

Preferred:

  • JD, MBA, PMP, or Advanced Certifications (Relativity, ACEDs, etc.)
  • People management experience within the litigation management industry
