Our client, a growing ten e-discovery service provider and document review company that values QOL and work-life balance, is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst to assist their Senior Project Management team on active matters in their Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. offices. This Analyst must be client-facing and able to answer client requests via phone and email with ease, knowing when to escalate as needed. Relativity experience is required, and a RCA is preferred. Strong EDRM understanding and experience running searches, productions, and data exports is required. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, experience in client service and management as well as integrity and professionalism. No data processing skills required at all. POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of e-Discovery Technology Services, the Litigation Support Analyst supports the e-Discovery Project Manager team and performs all technology and electronically stored information (ESI) related activities associated with a client and matter specific projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Consult with legal and project management teams in the application of processes, technologies and the use of ESI to successful outcomes; provide on-going technical support and training to members of legal teams and the e-Discovery Technology Services group; perform user training programs and create necessary materials
  • Manage ESI and the application of processes and technology at various stages of a litigation or transactional matter
  • Create, administer, assist and use databases internally and with application service providers (ASPs), full text retrieval and video applications, and extranets
  • Participate in the assessment of products or program alternatives to make recommendations to management
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the local and Company-wide IT function by supporting the IT Department with its technology initiatives and objectives
  • Perform work in an efficient and cost-effective manner to permit the Company to reasonably collect fees for such work; meet expectations of billable hours
  • Preferred proficiency in electronic discovery and imaging applications, such as Nuix Workstation and Relativity Processing, etc.
  • Provide advanced technical support and training in collaboration with legal teams, client support groups and IT staff; participates in training programs and the drafting of training materials
  • Work beyond scheduled hours as required
  • Handle additional special projects as assigned

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Expert-level proficiency in application service providers (ASPs), such as Relativity
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (desktop and network); network storage and archival technologies
  • Fundamental proficiency in electronic discovery and imaging applications, such as Nuix, Relativity, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Electronic Discovery and e-discovery principles
  • Basic knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of electronically stored information (ESI) as they relate to legal matters, including the use of various ESI collection, management, review and processing tools and applications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced course work or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Industry Certifications (ACEDS, Relativity Certified User, Paralegal Certification, etc.
  • Course work in computer science or related field
  • Some e-discovery experience; Law firm and Corporate experience will also be considered
