Our client has an immediate opening for a Document Management Analyst in their Washington, D.C. office. This role will work directly under the Task Supervisor and will perform the following tasks: maintaining the file room, removing closed case files and boxing them up for storage, maintaining the case file index and performing data entry. The candidate must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities, general office experience or undergraduate degree is also required. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance. Send resumes to [email protected]

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Under the direction of Task Supervisor or Document Management Analyst, performs the following tasks while complying with established procedures:
  • Maintains file room, removes closed case files and box them up for storage
  • Maintains the case file index
  • Performs data entry into the Safari database and FPDS database
  • Prints and mail contract packages to expert
  • Emails expert and attorney upon contract approval
  • Creates file folders for new contracts
  • Copies contracts for Finance
  • Handles faxing, emailing, and scanning of documents
  • Creates travel letters and email to appropriate person
  • Gives scanned invoices to appropriate invoice reviewer
  • Creates Routing slips for contract actions needing Executive Office approvals
  • Performs related work as assigned and required

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent writing skills and oral communication capabilities.
  • General office experience or undergraduate degree
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Safari Database and FPDS database
  • Should be a knowledgeable user of the Government's office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
  • Some walking, standing, bending and carrying of small office items
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired Qualifications:

  • Accounting experience is preferred
  • Legal experience is helpful
  • Experience working in a Government and/or Litigation Support environment in conjunction with basic qualifications and/or equivalent level of training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Access or other data bases), Word Perfect and Adobe Acrobat Professional, strongly preferred
  • Experience in working with databases such as Concordance, Relativity, Summation, Trial Director or other similar databases/applications is helpful
  • Current or active clearance
