Our client is seeking a Litigation & Practice Support Manager for their Washington, D.C. office. The Litigation & Practice Support Manager has overall responsibility for all the Litigation & Practice Support consultative and operational activities. Our client would like to target someone outside of a law firm and focus on candidates that have worked for consulting firms or e-discovery vendors that work with law firms specifically with data science exposure. The right candidate will have a rich technology-assisted review background and ideally will have testified in court as to the validity of data. The firm aims to be focused on the future of litigation support, and this hire should help move them ahead of the curve. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree, Am Law 100 law firm experience, and prior experience as a paralegal or attorney and written or co-written papers, or will have published their findings related to TAR/analytics. Education and/or Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Significant experience in litigation support or related experience within a law firm environment as well as some management experience
  • Knowledge of technologies specific to the legal vertical, including Litigation Support applications
  • Proficiency in legal research including Lexis, Westlaw, Internet services and other library material
  • Experience coordinating vendor contracts and projects


  • Advanced degree such as a JD, MBA or Master’s degree
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Business, Legal Studies, Information Systems or related field
  • Prior experience as an attorney or paralegal
  • Am Law 100 Law firm experience
  • Knowledge of the complete litigation process
  • Knowledge of current vendor market
