CONTRACT ESI Project Manager (CONSULTANCY)

Our client is seeking a contract ESI Relativity-centric Project Manager to serve as a key member within its Discovery & Forensic Technology Services team. The Project Manager will be responsible for successfully managing assigned projects and client relationships through effective coordination and execution. Candidates must have the right combination of leadership and electronic discovery experience to successfully manage multiple projects serving law firm and corporate clients. Requirements include consulting, litigation support, paralegal or attorney experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or e-discovery service provider and experience in Relativity. RCA, PMP, and CEDS certifications are strong pluses. Send resumes to [email protected].

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact with key client representatives and accountable for service delivery for assigned projects
  • Coordinates the collection, tracking, processing, hosting, review, and production of data
  • Seamlessly works with clients with varying levels of technical skills
  • Ensures effective coordination and communication with the client and DFTS team members
  • Work with clients to establish e-discovery best practices which meet their needs and address any prioritization issues that may arise
  • Ensures client and project requirements are being met with the highest quality and accuracy through verification and communicating routinely with both the client and our client services team
  • Manages and reports to clients on project budget and financial status
  • Maintains a deep understanding of the industry and trends and a thorough understanding of all company products and services and technologies

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate degree such as a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree or Masters of Business Administration (MBA) considered a strong plus
  • Consulting, litigation support, paralegal or attorney experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or e-discovery service provider
  • CEDS certification and/or PMP certification preferred
  • Evidence of emerging leadership and staff development skills to motivate staff members and provide professional growth to assume additional responsibilities
  • Demonstrated success in management of multiple simultaneous projects
  • Solid oral and written communication skills 
  • Excellent client relationship skills which include the ability to proactively manage client expectations, recognize client needs and adapt company capabilities to consistently meet client requirements
  • Teamwork, attention to detail, positive attitude and self-motivation attributes
  • Significant experience with MS Office and the various common litigation support database software tools
  • Experience processing data required for litigation support databases
  • Relativity experience required, Relativity Certified Administrator a strong plus
  • Experience and working knowledge of Technology Assisted Review (TAR) a strong plus
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and adjust to rapidly changing environment
  • Willingness to undertake occasional travel as cases or initiatives require
