Our client, a leading international firm, is seeking an e-Discovery Project Manager for their Century City, CA office. The Project Manager will oversee all technical components for assigned e-discovery cases, including consulting with case teams regarding best practices for e-discovery document management, production format, and the use of technology to facilitate review workflow. The Project Manager will provide day-to-day system support to case teams and clients and collaborate with staff attorneys to batch documents and establish coding requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day e-discovery system support to case teams and clients
  • Consults with case teams regarding best practices for e-discovery document management, production format, and the use of technology to facilitate review workflow
  • Reports regularly to case teams about discovery project status
  • Documents and tracks case information and data
  • Enters and updates project details in the appropriate case and task management systems
  • Collaborates with staff attorneys to batch documents and establishes coding requirements
  • Conducts advanced searches within Relativity and other e-discovery systems
  • Analyzes e-discovery technology usage and prepares recommendations to enhance cost efficiencies
  • Coordinates with data analysts regarding data processing requirements, productions and other deliverables
  • Sets up user permissions, logins and review screens for project attorney document reviews
  • Collaborates with vendors regarding outsource projects
  • Prepares cost estimates and monitor spend

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Several years of work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Relativity
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
  • Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative, as well as part of a team
