National Director of Marketing (VENDOR)

Our client is seeking a National Director of Marketing to contribute to the growth of their ongoing marketing tactics and sales initiatives. The Director will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns as well as providing support to the sales team. Proven success with owning marketing strategy, developing comprehensive marketing plans, executing innovative campaigns, and identifying/acting on ad-hoc opportunities to drive demand and adoption and increase market awareness is necessary. Duties and Responsibilities

Develops marketing, client communications, and sales support strategies and implements campaigns around client’s various products and service offerings
Engages Sales teams regularly to define challenges, needs, and targets, and develop marketing plans and messaging to support the continued growth of the business
Drives sales enablement efforts to support Sales as they engage prospects
Develops and refines communications and collaterals such as client-facing positioning, sales presentations and tools, web content, case studies, etc.
Provides expert marketing counsel in helping product and service teams develop monetization strategies, positioning and pricing for new business offerings
Partners with product and service development teams to develop go-to-market strategies, including messaging, targeting, channels, partnerships, and competitive positioning
Tracks and analyzes the competitive landscape and creates differentiated messaging
Provides thought-leadership and innovation for client’s event programs

Skills and Specifications

Proven success with owning marketing strategy, developing comprehensive marketing plans, executing innovative campaigns, and identifying/acting on ad-hoc opportunities to drive demand and adoption and increase market awareness
Sound understanding of marketing principles, especially the roles media relations and event marketing play in the corporate marketing mix
Considerable experience with sales enablement and engagement marketing initiatives
Adept at working across diverse functional teams, influencing at different management levels, and building rapport and support with various colleagues
Exceptional time management and project management skills
Able to stay focused in the midst of an active and changing environment and stay calm under pressure
Flexible and adaptable; comfortable with change and in developing new skills to extend impact

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, English, or other liberal arts disciplines
Experience in e-discovery
Proven experience in solution and/or enterprise sales

Technical Skills
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Competencies
MBA viewed favorably
