Diversity hire desired! Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking two hands-on e-Discovery Project Managers for their New York office. Vendor, Big 4, or Am Law 100 e-discovery technology experience with a strong emphasis on litigation is required. The Project Managers will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating and tracking project progress and workflow from case inception to settlement/trial. The ideal candidates will have experience designing databases and reports; reviewing and quality checking database data loads; developing recommendations, plans, cost estimates, budgets, procedures, and specifications for case-specific projects from discovery to trial phase; drafting project proposals and providing status reports; providing end user support and customer service; troubleshooting litigation support firm applications; and processing experience. Thorough knowledge in Relativity, including Relativity analytics, RAR processing and production is required and an RCA is strongly preferred. Strong experience with Brainspace, LAW, CaseNotebook and other tools is preferred. CEDS and PMP certifications are also a plus. Great quality of life! Send resumes to [email protected]

Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Works with case teams to plan electronic discovery projects for both ESI, opposing party productions and paper files, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review, and production of ESI
  • Oversees each project and ensuring quality and success through actions
  • Manages best practices for document management, electronic discovery, and matter workflow as set forth by Director
  • Communicates with case teams on discovery management issues, such as data loading and production planning
  • Reports to case teams and management on project status
  • Tracks and analyzes incoming client data as well as opposing counsel productions
  • Designs databases in vendor applications and internal litigation support applications
  • Coordinates with external vendors as needed
  • Meets billable hours set by Director


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; RCA Certification preferred
  • Project management and business analysis certification a plus, PMP or ACEDS
  • Several years of experience working with and managing electronic discovery projects
  • Thorough knowledge Relativity (including Relativity Analytics, RAR Processing and Production), LAW, Case Notebook
  • Experience training users on firm applications in class-room setting a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of designing databases and workflows for organizing and review of data
  • Experience in analyzing data processing reporting generated by vendors and internal processing
  • Experience with managing the data deliverables
  • Thorough knowledge of the electronic discovery process, including evolving standards created through case law, rulemaking, and groups such as EDRM and The Sedona Conference
  • Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client service orientation
  • Understanding of the discovery cycle, from both the Plaintiff and Defendant side
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Possess superb written and verbal communication skills to enable effective and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and vendors
