Unique opportunity overseas in Hong Kong or Tokyo! Our client, a leading e-discovery and managed services provider, is seeking three Project Managers. The Project Managers will independently manage multiple medium-to-large projects and assist on large, complex projects; coordinate internal resources through the entire project lifecycle from collection through review/production; and work cooperatively as part of the Project Management team in support of hosted electronic discovery/disclosure client projects in APAC and internationally. A degree in a technical discipline with a demonstrated record of achievement as well as experience in the field of electronic discovery/disclosure is preferred. Client will consider both direct hire candidates and those interested in a long-term temporary relocation. Must speak Mandarin for the Hong Kong role. Essential Functions:

  • Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects from project win to completion
  • Provide complete and timely communications to our client’s clients ensuring that at all levels of the client organization, the project status is understood
  • Provide appropriate work direction to all internal personnel assigned to execute the project
  • Act as a liaison between internal personnel and our client’s clients to facilitate successful project completion
  • Facilitate project meetings and internal communication between our client’s staff to ensure projects are completed correctly and on time
  • Carry out all appropriate processes and procedures to ensure correct forecasting of revenue and invoicing of client projects
  • Work with sales to help plan projects and ensure they are scoped in a cost effective manner
  • Provide project-specific reporting as required by the client and internal stakeholders
  • Develop relationships with appropriate client representatives
  • Work well under pressure with a small, diverse, and dedicated team of professionals

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Fluent written and spoken Japanese and good command of English
  • Significant project management experience including extensive communication with external clients across multiple media, including phone, email, and in person communication
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have previous experience following complex and detailed processes
  • Ability to effectively facilitate meetings
  • Knowledge or experience within the legal industry is a plus
  • High degree of interpersonal sensitivity which facilitates building relationships with experienced, qualified staff and clients
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Strong ability to work autonomously

  • Technical aptitude and financial appreciation
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • University degree or equivalent qualification preferred
  • RCA (Relativity Certified Administrator) certification highly desired
