National Director, Cybersecurity (VENDOR)

  • Employment Type: Direct Hire

This is a Subject Matter Expert role in cybersecurity which will support the entire company and sales team of more than ten people across the country in generating new revenue in cybersecurity services. This person may contribute as an individual to sales, but that is not necessarily required. This role requires expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, MSSP contracts (managed security service provider), and/or incident response services. The right fit will be highly entrepreneurial, able to travel throughout the East Coast to meet with prospective clients, and have a team player mentality. While this company is not a start-up, this division is in rapid growth and still in its genesis. Start-up mentality is highly desired. This position offers a competitive base and variable comp plan. This role could work remotely from anywhere on the East Coast, but Atlanta and D.C. are highly desired. Send resumes to [email protected].

Job Responsibilities:

  • Business Development and sales activities leading to revenue growth of Cyber Services including prospecting and related outbound sales activity
  • Building a brand of thought leadership for our client regarding Cyber Services in the marketplace through networking, sales meetings and whitepaper/case study development
  • Market research, client and competitive intel for pricing strategy/input to assist in building a growing a profitable cyber service offering
  • Planning, recommending and working with team to implement upgrades in software and hardware related to our cyber and forensic service offerings
  • Provide cyber security sales engineering and sales support to the existing sales force and clients
  • Responsible for cyber related product and service demonstrations
  • Work with sales team to lead speaking engagements in our client’s territories
  • Working with executive management on the vision of security service offerings
  • Review and prepare expert affidavits, when required

Proficient Working Knowledge of the Following Security Areas Desired:

  • Strong knowledge of Cyber Security principles and processes
  • Strong knowledge of industry leading applications and systems critical for a managed security service provider
  • Strong knowledge in complex computing environments
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in laymen terms to clients and prospective clients
  • Strong consultative skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong team player

Education:

  • Bachelors of Science or advanced degree in computer science, computer security or related discipline preferred
