ESI Weekend Data Analyst (VENDOR)

Top 10 global e-discovery vendor seeks two Data Analysts for their Chicago, Palo Alto or San Francisco office. Analysts are responsible for performing all duties related to processing data using LAW PreDiscovery. This position requires someone who doesn’t mind working varied shifts including nights and weekends in a fast-paced work environment. Shift possibilities include Tuesday – Monday from 8-4 or 11-7 CT or Friday – Monday 8-6 or 10-8. The ideal candidate will have some experience in working with Nuix, IPRO and other processing tools is a plus. This is a great fit for someone who wants to grow technically. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process data in our preferred software, LAW Pre-Discovery, and become knowledgeable with our internal established processes and workflows
  • Communicate project status and updates effectively with all levels of the company
  • Resolve or elevate issues that arise during data processing
  • Document billable items using an understanding of our proprietary reporting tool

Skills and Specifications:

  • Familiarity with standard e-discovery load files (DAT, OPT, LFP, DII)
  • Experience with MS Office, basic image and text files
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and maintain composure under pressure
  • Ability to work in ever evolving, deadline driven and fast paced work environment
  • Engaged and enthusiastic about work and learning
  • Flexible availability to work varied shifts, including evening and weekends
  • Must be self- motivated, yet willing to work in a team
  • Knowledge of Nuix, Ipro or other processing tools a strong plus

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or other Computer related field
  • At least one year of experience with performing electronic data processing and/or document productions using LAW Pre-Discovery
